It seems when high fashion and interior decorating come together in one garment the result is facinating and absolutely beautiful. Bananas.

I love the wall of glass, I wonder if I could do this to my attic bedroom? Sadly though mine would only overlook my neighbours roof and not the ocean and sunset...
Self: Paint interior of front door glossy black to match the outside. That is all.
Flourish Design & Style noted that its "something about the mix" of this room, and I have to agree. I love the ultra modern art and the traditional chairs. The parquet floors and the ktichy lamp. The graphic pillow against the organic zebra. And the art on the door = perfect.
My house is in the current issue (October 2010) of Real Living magazine!

I think I'm going to explode from excitement!
Is this classed as preppy? In my mind it is, and I love it. I think I need more navy in my life.
Seems I'm on trend right now with the layered rugs in our living room. Woot!
Pardon the pun! This is more distressed than I usually would go for, but this shot made me do a double take. Every. Single. Thing. Stunning.
I seem to be obsessed with walk in wardrobes lately... which is strange because I don't even have a wardrobe, let alone one I can walk into!
I completely fell in love with New York when we visited there in January. It's somewhere I had always wanted to visit, and it certainly didn't disappoint. We went on a 'Real New York' walking tour (www.realnewyorktours.com, highly recommended!) through the city on our first day, and I just adored all the history and stories associated with Manhattan.
Then I came across this via Apartment Therapy today, and it takes my breath away - what an amazing architectural gem, just waiting quietly downtown to be rediscovered. When The Beekman Palace opens, I'll certainly be checking in.
